Addie is my first Silken Windhound and my first dog ever...I found out about the litter by chance
through a friend of a friend at a Giants game. I just went to "see" the litter. Well, I fell in love
with them. The adults, particularly mom Suzie Q (Kristull Suzie Q Tangaloor), were as charming
as the pups—and awake more of the time!

Why is she called Addie? Delenn wasn't my idea of a call name and the Babylon 5 character after
which she's named is Ambassador Delenn...Truly apt, I’ve come to find out! So I took the A and the D
and the rest is history…

Addie was a stubborn, persistent little girl in her youth and got along with everyone, no matter how
many legs. We did lots of training (more for me than for her) and socializing all over San Francisco
and beyond. While she’s retained these qualities in spades, she’s settled down to be a very mellow,
affectionate, playful, athletic dog—pretty much my ideal temperament-wise.

Addie loves straight racing, though she often treats it as the game that is isn't. She seems to be taking
coursing a bit more seriously, perhaps because she started it first--practicing when she was but a few
months old. I swear she had a flashback before it was her turn to take the field at the Irish Wolfhound
coursing event we attended in February! She earned her lure coursing CQ at the Pharoah Hound
coursing event this May and is ready for competition!
